Sigrun + Mikkjal
I had been looking forward to this day since the first day I met Sigrun on our first photoshoot together for Insito. I think we both knew back then who was gonna shoot her wedding photos (spoiler alert, it was me). I really can’t put into words how amazing this wedding was from start to finish, since Sigrun and Mikkjal had planned every single little detail to the max. With all the planning and work that had been put into this day, Sigrun and Mikkjal managed to transform a normal sports-hall into a place that almost felt unreal. I am so thankful I got the opportunity to document this unforgettable special day. Please enjoy these photos below. (try not to cry)

" "My husband and I couldn’t be more grateful for what Gilli did for us on our wedding day. He was an absolut champ!! First of all: Communication This part is so very important when you have such a big day ahead of you. Gilli is very trustworthy and always replies within the hour if not right away. We met up with him before the wedding and talked everything out so we were on the same page for the wedding. Second: Personality When you have a photograher following you around a whole day it is very important that it’s doesn’t feel stressfull on a day like your wedding. Gilli is so nice and easy going and very comfortable to be around and I’m not just talking about me and Mikkjal but also the guests. He sat at my siblings table and they all had such a blast, and that Gilli just blended right in. And when Gilli went around to take all the pictures at the party, he just blended right in, it didn’t feel like you had a camera in your face the whole time. And then third and I think this one makes him worth every penny: Working fast // keeping a deadline When you get married, or you just have a special event in your life that you would like to document, it is very VERY important that you get your photos as soon as possible after the big event and THIS is Gilli amazing at. We had our wedding on a friday and our Brúðarhús on a saturday, and even though he was with us from 8AM friday morning until very very late, he still managed to get us a whole album (with the most important pictures) AND a video with audio for the next day for us to see and show our loved ones. All the pictures for that day were ofcourse all edited and everything. And only a week later we had ALL of our wedding pictures. We would 100% reccomend Gilli at ANY time♥️"
